Upstate IMDP Cluster Performs Brother's Keeper at Addison Home

Clemson South Carolina - The Fall 2014 IMDP (Intake Membership Development Cluster) Cluster performed the Brother's Keeper Service Project at the home of Prof. Clarence Addison, the Charter Advisor of Pi Alpha Chapter. Upstate Cluster Candidates which include sixteen Pi Alpha candidates along with several PANAC brothers from Upstate Chapters attend and helped with the service project. The Cluster was led by PANAC's own, Brother John Middleton, who was acting as Chief Dean for SCAlpha Upstate Cluster.

Brother's Keeper is the newest National Program adopted by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Program is meant to be a bridge between older brothers and their families once they move on to Omega Chapter after their passing. Started in 2012, the program has been conducted by Upstate SCAlpha Cluster as a way to honor and assist the Addison Family. Professor Addison was Pi Alpha Charter Advisor from 1981 to 1985 and served as an Emeritus Advisor for many years. Professor Addison first arrived with his family at Clemson University in 1972 from South Carolina State University, and served a Professor at Clemson University in the Architecture College for many years until has retire in 1990's. He passed to Chapter Omega in 2005. Upstate IMDP Cluster after the Brother's Keeper Project on November 16, 2014.
