Pi Alpha Advisor McClendon featured in CMDiT Article

Clemson, South Carolina - Congratulations to Pi Alpha Advisor, Dr. Jerome McClendon who was featured in a recent interview by CMDiT (Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in Information Technology), which is an organization that encourages Cultural diversity in computing and IT.

The interview focused is on his biography and his recent work as Consortium Chair, engaging in computing and information technologies to under-represented groups including African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics, and People with Disabilities. The center is comprised of corporations, academic institutions, government agencies, and non-profits.

Jerome McClendon is a Research Assistant Professor at Clemson University and the Tapia 2020 Doctoral Consortium Co-Chair. We spent some time speaking with Jerome about his work and his passion for social justice and why he volunteers for Tapia.
