Despite a very changeling 2020, the lastest line of Pi Alpha showed determination and persistence.
Columbia, South Carolina On October 31, 2020, Pi Alpha proudly welcomed the 50th line of Pi Alpha Chapter with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Ten Neophytes were initiated into the chapter as a part of the Fall 2020 Midlands & Upstate Intake Cluster under the direction of Brother Ruben Freeman. They participated with an Intake Cluster of nearly 80 candidates.
Those new brothers are as follows (1 left to right 10):
10 Kings of a Golden Realm
"The 10 Kings of a Golden Realm dealt with unprecedented adversity in a situation that was being unknown for everyone.", said Brother Kendrick Curry, Pi Alpha's Chapter Intake Chair. This class was scheduled to start in March 2020, but due to the COVID-19 crisis, it was restarted in the Fall semester. "They handled every twist and turn as if it was expected and excelled. They are one of the most resilient and present lines to cross Pi Alpha.", said Curry.
