UPDATE 1/2/20: The Passing of Brother Dr. Morris F. Hall

Greenville, South Carolina - Please aware of the passing of Dr. Morris F. Hall and keep his family in your prayers.

Dr. Hall is the father of Brother Morris F. Hall, Jr, a Pi Alpha Alumnus (Fall 1991 Initiate, Business as Usual). Here is the message from President Furman Jackson, released Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Brother Hall was a long-time pillar is a local Dentist to the Greenville Community for more than 40 years. Brother Hall was instrumental in the chartering of Pi Alpha Chapter and attended many of the first events leading up to the creation of the chapter in 1983.

Services are entrusted to Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary 1011 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC. The family address is at 21 Brentmoor Place, Simpsonville, SC 29680. No funeral arrangements have been made at this time but will be announced later by the family. Brother Morris Hall Jr. is requesting an Omega Service for his father.

The Omega Service for Brother Dr. Morris F. Hall will be Friday, January 03, 2020, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary 1011 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC at 7:00 pm. Brothers are asked to arrive by 6:45 pm in official Alpha Attire. At the request of the family, the service is closed and for Brothers Only.

The Funeral service will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at John Wesley United Methodist Church 11:00 am 100 East Court Street, Greenville, SC 29601.

Brother Hall was a dedicated member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for all most 60 years and very active with the Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter after being initiated through the Alpha Omicron Chapter at Johnson C. Smith University.
