Pi Alpha's Bateman featured in Clemson Lead Article for MLK 2016

Clemson, South Carolina - Clemson University begin its 34th year Celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. with a feature article on Pi Alpha's Ian Bateman along other Clemson student Leaders. Pi Alpha is a part of the Enhancement Committee leading the efforts. This year's Martin Luther King Celebration will have six different events starting with a Civil Rights Trip to South Carolina State Capitol, SC State University, and Mother Emmanuel AME Church. On Monday, the annual day of service event start at the Hendrix Ballrooms. This event has been held on campus since 1999.

On Tuesday, January 19th, 34th Commemorative Service will feature Keynote Speaker, Sybrina Fulton, Mother of Trayvon Martin. That event has been moved from Tillman Hall to the Brooks Center this year. MSSI Seminar: "It Takes Courage", The student led, Tunnel of Impression and a Panel on Law Enforcement and the Community will close this year's celebration.
