Clemson, South Carolina - The City of Clemson has honored our very own Professor Clarence Addison with a street in his name. On May 23, 2012, the city decided to honor Bro. Clarence Addison and re-name a street in his honor in 2012. On July 1, the street sign for Addison Lane was put up off the downtown street.

The street location is downtown next to old Police Annex (next to Judge Keller's). The Addison Family received a letter confirming the honor (in May 2012). The city is hoping to have a dedication event in 2012 (this Fall, probably) and they want Pi Alpha to play a part in it.

Professor Addison was instrumental in chartering the Pi Alpha in 1983 and served as Pi Alpha Chapter's Alpha Advisor until 1986. Brother Addison was Campus Advisor until his passing 2005. We will have more information on the street dedication once the city release their plan for a ceremony. Professor Clarence B.
