Clemson, South Carolina - Clemson University has announced its is annual Spring Game will be held at Death Valley Stadium on April 12 at 3 PM. Last year's game, featured several key match ups for back up quarterback, running back and on defense. Unfortunately, the game also had some key injuries to some players. This year's game will play a pivotal role with the starting quarterback competition with returning players, Cole Stoudt and Chad Kelly, competing for the starting job for the 2014 Season along with newcomer DeShaun Watson. We expect several other positions to have stiff competition for starting positions as Clemson loses prolific starters Sammy Watkins, Taji Boyd, Martavis Bryant, Bashaud Breedland and Rod McDowell after an 11-2 Season which ended with Orange Bowl victory against Ohio State. Last year game, won by Orange team 34-26, set a record attendance of more than 30,000 fans and traditionally brings a large number of former Clemson players to get a first look at the tiger for next. More than 100 former players attended last year's game.
