Clemson, South Carolina - Clemson University has released all the versions of the TAPS, its award-winning yearbook, on-line to the public. The first Clemson yearbook, The Clemson College Chronicle, was published in 1899. The yearbook had several names before finally becoming TAPS in 1908. Clemson University's used a partnership with LYRASIS Digitization Collaborative, a Sloan Foundation grant, to subsidized the project. That partnership has given tremendous access to users to Clemson's history and archives of its Student Life. The complete run of the TAPS from 1899 to 2012 is currently available through this project.

“We are very excited to be able to provide resources unique to Clemson University for access, and the TAPS is just one item that we have digitized for public access,” commented Kay Wall, Dean of the Clemson Library.

Over 100,000 pages of full color, text searchable Clemson history will be available to users world-wide. Also available are the Clemson Catalog (Undergraduate announcements) and Clemson Chronicle (the Student literary journal) with more Clemson publications on the way. Included among the archives are historical pictures of the many of Greek Chapters and members and their activities, including Pi Alpha Chapter.
