Clemson erects a new replica of the Clemson Ring on campus

Clemson, South Carolina - Clemson Alumni Center has erected a 12-foot replica of the Clemson Ring worn by Clemson Graduates. The 12 replica has been placed at the Alumni Center.

The history of the Clemson school ring goes back to the beginnings of Clemson College and in 1901, Clemson decided to create a "school" ring. The rings previously were class rings and had their own designs and colors. Other than slight changes were made in 1906 and 1915, the design is relatively unchanged to the present day and stands as one of the more unique school right in the country. The Clemson school right is was earliest indication of the present "One Clemson" theme used today.
