Bro. Peter Felder, 3rd SC District Director, enters Omega Chapter

Orangeburg, South Carolina - It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Brother Pete L. Felder, II. Brother Felder passed away to Omega Chapter on the morning of March 17, 2016 after an extended stay in the hospital.

Brother Felder served as the third State Director (now called District Director) for South Carolina from 1975-1988, which is the longest tenure as State Director. His voice, humor, and candor will be solely missed in the District as well as All of Alpha. Brother Felder was State Director when Pi Alpha was chartered and played an integral role in the chapter's creation.

Omega Service and Funeral Service Arrangements for Brother Peter L. Felder II, the 3rd South Carolina District Director

Brothers,

The Omega Service in honor of the 3^rd District Director (State Director), Brother Peter L. Felder II will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at Williams Chapel A.M.E. Church. The church is located at 1198 Glover Street, Orangeburg, South Carolina 29115. Brothers who plan to be in attendance should arrive no later than 6:30 p.m.

Brother Felder’s funeral service will also be held at Williams Chapel A.M. E. Church on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. During the funeral service, a section will be reserved for Alpha Brothers. Please arrive at the church no later than 10:15 a.m.

Brothers are expected to wear “Alpha Attire” (dark suit, white shirt and an Alpha tie or bowtie) to both services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Glover’s Funeral Home, 2562 Charleston Highway, Orangeburg, SC 29115, (803) 536-3200. Cards and expressions of condolences may be sent to the family home at 1939 Lake Drive, Orangeburg, South Carolina, 29115.
